Public rights of way for motor vehicles

An important decision
11th September 2014

One of members has kindly supplied us with the judgment In a recent case dealing with public rights of way for motor vehicles in a private road – whether they have been created by “dedication and acceptance", and if so whether they have been extinguished by part 6 of "NERC"  (the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006).  We will be commenting on the case in our next newsletter. Meanwhile, logged in members will find the text of the judgment in the Archived papers section of our website.
